My main project at the moment (apart from promoting the Conference) is still the Insurance mini-course which is getting nearer to completion – in fact, I am hoping it can go live some time this week.
The actual course itself is now done so it’s doing all the extra things like the information page, setting up the course software (it is being hosted on this blog so will use the ‘rainmaker platform’ learning management system) and doing the emails.
I’m also liaising with Alan Boswell Group staff – as the course is in association with them, they have to be happy with it!
A lot of work, but I think when it is finally there, most landlords will find it very useful indeed.
But what happened on the blog this week?
Ben writes an open letter to the Prime Minister
Part three of my short series about mistakes in possession proceedings
We reach guarantees in my tenancy agreement series.
They have been called useless on the BBC website but are they really?
My turn for the newsround and hunting out interesting housing news items.
- This is Monday bemoans the lack of housing issues in the budget
- A worrying item from Property Industry Eye on how taxes for landlords will rocket*
- The Telegraph has a list of the most desirable places to live in the UK
- It looks like the Rent a Room tax relief may be reviewed
