Landlord Law Blog Roundup from 5th June

June 11, 2017 by Tessa Shepperson

Coffee cup and notebookA busy week.  I had a great time at the North Staffordshire Landlords Conference and thank you to everyone who attended.

Since I got back I have been watching the news mostly.  I see that our former Housing Minister, Gavin Barwell, has lost his seat so this means yet another housing minister.

Let’s hope his replacement, is someone who has some smattering of understanding of the sector.

But what happened on the blog?

Monday

If I don’t sign a new tenancy agreement with a renewal fee clause will I be evicted?

An interesting question asked in my blog clinic this week

Tuesday

Can deductions be made from my deposit if the repairs were never done?

This is a question from a tenant who’s landlord is holding back her deposit

Wednesday

Tenancy Agreements 33 days of tips – day 22 – Insurance

Continuing my weekly series on tenancy agreement tips

Thursday

Do the HMO Managment Regulations apply to Joint Tenants?

The two ways of dealing with multiple tenants
