The January 2018 Mystery Box Giveaway

January 1, 2018 by Tessa Shepperson

Happy New Year!

2017 was a tough year.  2018 is shaping up to be a tough year too.  Housing is now a hot political topic and the politicians have their sights on the private rented sector.  Yet more new legislation is coming.

The New Year is traditionally a time to take stock and prepare for the year to come.  To help you, and to add a bit of fun, I have devised this ‘Mystery Box’ giveaway.

What is the Mystery Box Giveaway?

If you click here you will find a page full of boxes.  Some of them will be open and some closed.  Every day during January a new box will open.

What will it contain?  That will depend.  Usually, there will be some sort of article explaining some aspect of landlord and tenant law.  All of the topics covered are ones which you need to know about if you are a landlord or a letting agent or a tenant of a rented property in the private rented sector.

However, you won’t just get the article. Sometimes there will be a free training video.   There will also be links to other sources of information on the internet where you can learn more. Some days there will be special discounts off some of our products and services.

Landlord Law

Many of the ‘giveaway’ links will be to pages which are normally only available to members of my Landlord Law service.  As part of this special promotion, I am opening up some of our articles and FAQ pages so non-members can get a glimpse of what Landlord Law has to offer.

Landlord Law is my service which offers help and guidance to private residential landlords, along with forms, tenancy agreements and our unique eviction guide.  Plus a lot more!  The site has been developing since 2001 so there is now quite a lot there.  Members can also ask me questions in our members only forum area.

The price for membership has remained the same ever since we launched our current website in 2010, even though the site content has grown considerably since then.  I have decided that the time has come for a modest price rise.

BUT if you join Landlord Law during January, you will pay the old price – and continue paying that old price so long as you remain a member and your subscription renewal payments are paid promptly.

New members joining on or after 1 February, however, will pay the new prices – although it is still excellent value and could save you a lot of money.

The Mystery Boxes Home Page

You will find links to all the boxes here.   Every day during January a new box will open.

You will also find details of the Landlord Law price rise and links if you want to join now to beat it.

The Notifications Service

It’s easy to forget about things.  However, the special giveaway pages will only be around during January and you don’t want to miss anything.

So why not sign up to the Notifications Service?  Every day during January you will get an email just after 7.00 am telling you about the day’s box and why its contents are important.  You may get some extra information and links too …

You will also get notified about all future special deals, new products, events and promotions we may run at Landlord Law Services AND you will be able to download my free ebook ’25 Critical Issues for Residential Landlords’.  You can unsubscribe at any stage if you don’t want the notifications any more.

Like a pumpkin

The January Mystery Box promotion, however, is only available during January.  At midnight on 31 January, all the pages will disappear and all the offers will close.

So make sure you don’t miss it!
